Policies

1. Mockups

The 2D and 3D mockups we provide are the most accurate representation of a final product. We aim for accuracy with mockups but due to the multitude of designs we handle, we can miss some details. It is the customers responsibility to inspect all mockups and renders, regardless of whether they provided a techpack beforehand. We are not financially responsible if a customer is not satisfied with a finished product that matches our mockup.

In addition, any mockups or 3D files created by our designers are considered High Life Tech intellectual property. We reserve the right to store these files indefinitely. Unless deemed otherwise, we have the right not to share any original 2D or 3D files created by our designers from scratch or any files edited for production purposes.

2. Production Time

Our estimated production time for 2D jewelry and most other products is 3.5-4.5 weeks. For 3D designs, production time is 6-8 weeks. The countdown begins after official artwork is approved. These are estimated timelines that are subject to vary bared on project, capacity, and unexpected issues. We do not compensate if a project is behind schedule unless agreed upon otherwise.

3. Payment

All sales are final. We do not allow returns or exchanges for any projects we create as they are made to order for specific brands. If we replacements for chains or other parts are needed, it is at the expense of the customer.

For new customers, full payment is required before orders begin production. We do not make official mockups or renders until paid for production. 

​

For returning customers, we allow a 50% deposit to begin production and 50% upon completion before shipping.

​

Unless agreed upon otherwise, in the event that a customer pays 50% deposit and upon completion cannot pay the balance within 3 business days, there will be a 1%  daily storage fee of the total order value added to the balance owed (i.e: If order is $700, each day balance is not paid after 3 days will be 1% x the $700 = $7). After 10 business days, if the remaining balance is still not paid, we reserve the right to sell their product/design without refunding their initial deposit. The initial 50% deposit will be put towards paying our employees and the cost of production.

4. Shipping

We use UPS, USPS, and DHL for our shipments. We are not responsible for any packages lost or damaged in transit. We are not responsible if a package comes damaged and contents are missing. We do not purchase additional insurance for our packages. If a customer wishes to insure their package, they must notify us 3 days before shipping and are liable for the additional insurance cost.

 

5. After Delivery

Upon delivery, it is up to the brand owner to inspect all their items within 3 days in case we missed any defects during our quality check. We are not responsible if a business resells the items and finds defects afterwards. We are not responsible if a customer breaks an item due to lack of care or negligence.

6. Content

After we manufacturer a product and it is released by the customer, unless agreed upon otherwise beforehand, we reserve the right to showcase the product as a means of marketing our manufacturing capabilities. This includes the use of product photos on all forms of social media, digital marketing materials, and physical marketing materials.
